WTB Officer's Pickelhaube Shell

I've just taken delivery of an engineer officers haube with great metalwork but a totally wrecked shell. Before I pester Brian to see if it's even possible to bring back to life, does anyone have an officer's shell they're thinking of moving on? If push comes to shove I could reuse the front and back peaks but the rest has had it I think.
Just thought I'd ask.

If its the helmet I believe it is from the WAF then I would take a shot at reviving the original shell first.

The wehrmacht-awards forum had a pioneer officers pickelhaube for sale a little while ago and it was in need of restoration, I assumed it was tye same one

I had considered buying that one myself but unfortunately did it have the funds. Best of luck on your project! Hopefully the original shell can be saved
