Prussian Jäger zu Pferd Enlisted Man’s Pickelhaube

Weitze has a Kurassiere helmet with a # stamped into the body under the front plate
Steve
Yes:

Because of the stamped size behind a cockade (56 5), Weitze concludes that this helmet is from the KR5 :ROFLMAO:

Yes I saw that and I do NOT agree that it has anything to do with
what regiment the helmet is from .What did you make of the silver front plate
on the Feldgrau body ??
Thanks
Steve

From the same dealer. As stenciled on the visor, this tin helmet was made by the von der Heyden company in Berlin, in size 56. Following the same logic, it has been here attributed to JR56:

If anyone comes across Pickelhauben in sizes 92, 109, or 115, please let me know. I am interested.

And this one....Wearer was then in the RJR163 🤗 Just stupid that a Reserve Infanterie Regiment 163 never has existed :(

Or this real beauty. JR102 helmet with perfect cockades that moved to a saxon artillery unit in wartime...
