Good evening gentlemen,

A friend of mine has had this tunic for a while and believes its a Prussian officers waffenrock but I don't think it is, would someone possibly be able to identify it?

Thank you,
Will

Will,
In my opinion it looks to be a Swedish infantry tunic however the collar is black instead of red. The sleeves look absent of any buttons or cuffs. I can't tell what color that front piping is but if it was red it would be correct and would match the rear red piping. I think the tunic was modified at some point.

I also believe the U.G.I. marking is a costume marking which would explain the modifications.
