For our European members here, Militracks 2022 is again going on this year, after the Covid disasters from the 2 years earlier.
An event, with many German WW2 vehicles taking presence, and riding around there.
It is, as usual in the War Museum Overloon, which is on the site of battles at the end of WW2.
A very nice and large museum, a very large military market taking place, so very nice to see. I went there several times, and have bought nice pickelhaubes there, though most of the market is WW2 off-course. But still, you never know what you will find, as a lot of dealers are from other countries, selling stuff not easily encountered. I will be there all weekend, as I have tickets for both day's.

Regards, Coert.

I am very jealous and wish I could fly over for the weekend. .Visited the Overloon museum a few years ago. Amazing display setup and my wife loved the mustard soup in the canteen. Win win!

Groeten, Coert.

When I first visited the museum, I was about 13 or 14 years old. My parents took us there, on a family day out. My sister, and I had a great day, dad told us, that it was important for us to know history. He was off-course right. I still have lots of pictures, taken at that day out, as I inherited all the family photoalbums after first my dad, and later my mother passed away.
Later on, I visited the museum too, at least once every 5 years or so.
Militracks is organized each year, and since it started, I visit it. So much to see, a nice museum with lots of nice display's, a large militaria fair,
military vehicles of all kinds circulating a track around the place,
and all in a nice setting, with an historical background.

Regards, Coert.
