Yes, they do; not! The groom looks to be wearing an Iron Cross 2nd Class ribbon on his uniform. The bride seems to be wearing black as a wedding dress as well. I assume he has been allowed wedding leave after a long period at the front and will most likely be returning shortly after their nuptials.

John, at that time it was normal and traditional for the bride to wear a black wedding dress (with a white veil). No mourning symbol associated whatsoever. Now, you are probably right when suggesting the circumstances of their wedding were not the happiest ones...
