I just got in today this single shoulder strap for Major of I R 125
The regiment had red underlay before all of the Infantry changed over to white underlay.
Above the FR cypher is the Reich's crown

They are for the tailor made Waffenrock of officers .
A guess is that the tailor had stock on hand
The cyphers or numbers maybe were added later
depending on the officers regiment and rank
I am a sucker for the rank of Major and above .
