Here are some items I purchased at SOS 2023, just got free time today to take a few photos.
Here is a very nice marine officer's medal bar grouping, which I couldn't resist to do nothing about it. 👇

The grouping belonged to Kapitänleutnant Theodor Hengstenberg, a torpedo boat commander during the war, included most of the documents. Special thanks to @Glennj who provided me a great help in checking out the owner's service history and award record! In incredible speed.
Also got myself two books, Stephen signed the "Imperial Sky" volume 2 for me, which is the volume I thought never existed. I recommend this set of books to all flight badge collectors.

A stunning bar! Especially interesting is the confirmation of the additional awards to those listed in the 1918 naval Rangliste. I can see the award documents for the Austro-Hungarian Military Merit Cross and the Ottoman Liakat (merit) medal. To whom was the award of the red cross medal to - another member of the Hengstenberg family?

Regards
Glenn

Simply WOW!

As can be seen in Herr Hengstenberg's entry in the 1918 navy list, only the Hohenzollern House Order Knights' Cross with Swords, the Iron Cross 1st Class and life saving medal are listed. This was the final edition effective as at 14 February 1918 and as Kapitänleutnant Hengstenberg did not serve in the Reichsmarine, his additional awards would have been difficult to ascertain. Now they are revealed.

Regards
Glenn
