Which helmet are you talking about ???Very nice helmet but....
The flesh side is visible on the inside of the helmet not the grain side.
All the parts look right but this helmet may have started life as a civilian helmet ( fire, police or civil official ).
Or possibly post war.
I have a helmet that is from a Brunswick veteran 100% officers but the fleshside is visible as well .
I think it to is post war.
The first one.Which helmet are you talking about ???

Steve, I think he is referring to my helmet.Which helmet are you talking about ???
Steve
The helmet is a true M1915Maybe Glenn J. can track the Oberleutnant GRÜTER of Steves helmet. I unfortunately was not able to find him in the ERL 1901,1907, 1911, 1913 and 1914-18 as an active officer that he must have been.
I would appreciate because I particularly love those helmets with tracked and traced wearers.
Glenn, if you are reading those lines...
