No, it is made of oak.Love it, they don't make them like that anymore.
Indeed!I have an antique store near me that has several cabinets like this and many other shelves and cabinets like this one. I always love to look at them and imagine just what all you could fill them with. Of course then you look at the price, rub your prints off of it, and walk away quickly.
It is insain! You guys are lucky to live in Europe so many of the younger generation don't want anything to do with the older style furniture and you can get it really cheap.
I remember being in Essen years ago with an old friend shortly after her mother died and she was going through her mother's house and tossing out all the old wardrobes and cabinets for free.
What a shame I couldn't get them home.
I did get a beautiful religious woodcarving which she also thought was kitschig her word not mine.![]()
It is insain!
You should see pictures I took of very nice furniture standing on street corners, waiting be picked up for free.
Furniture that was valuable 20 years ago. OK it's not worth anything more today, but it is still beautifull....
Kris,
Curious to see part of your collection displayed in this one!

I bought mine years ago in the garage of a retired lawyer. An estate sale.Hey Steve,
that is exactly what they are.
They came by dozens on the UK antiques markets, I visited, back in time (late 80 ties ).
But I have never seen them with the additional sides like thise one.
You deserve to enjoy a fine Duvel beer!Hey Francis,
very curious too!
Managed to put descent light today, in the bunker.
I will have to move some furniture...
