Hi Phillipe,

I know you'll be itching to research the cap but sadly not unit marked but it does have a bring back story attached to it so I am quietly confident it's an original to that unit.

In answer to your question I have picked up a few pieces from 162 and other Hanseatic regt's over the years but don't focus solely on them.

I'll do a separate thread on the Hanseatic stuff I have and maybe we can get a "examples" show and tell going.

Hi Doug, it's all complete. ET 66 WITH LOW BATCH NUMBER RO027.

also got faint AK 66 markings on rear skirt so reckon it's a refit as the pads are the undyed later war. Still with chinstrap and horse hair pads in. One pad has makers stamp but too fragile to have a closer look. Cheers Tony
