This M18 ‘Ohrenausschnitt’ is a fully identified reproduction in France. 20 years ago, at the Krakow flea market, it was piled up one on top of the other, priced at €30 each for tourists.

If Patina has been misled, it's unacceptable, given that it's a reputable professional in Germany.
If Patina knows it's a counterfeit, disguised as the real thing, that's scandalous.
The new cap and chinstrap have been deliberately removed, because they do not conform to the real M18 and are immediately identifiable even by a beginner.

Note the words ‘sellers’ from the fable in the legend:
--- ‘attic find’.
---irreproachable original’.
I'll leave you to appreciate the price of this extraordinary piece.
Just because you're selling a ‘no ear’ doesn't mean you have to be deaf ... and blind.
😡😤

Oh yes, he once-online- promised to make me a good price for his FAR Officer; at Ciney he did not keep his word. Herr Ritscher??

The GdC he has listed has problems also, not an "attic find" really!?!?
Thank you.

The true connoisseurs will appreciate... I say nothing...

Ask yourself the following questions, to confirm the attic piece:

---Are the side post the right ones?
---Are the half-jugulars correct (and as the “legend” says, are they excusable for an Eigentum helmet? According to the author, this model was assembled while waiting for the right model to be cobbled together by the owner...
---Does the cap stitching go the right way?
---Were the black or green visor and visor cap already in the attic? ?
---The crest eagle, from the attic Question ...or to deny... ?😡

If you've answered YES to all 5 questions, get your hands on it before it's blown away. At this price, you won't find another one...
And don't forget to ask for a certificate of authenticity...illuminated...in German...

Have a nice day!
