Fake or legit

A friend bought this uniform years ago, but I cant tell if it is reused post war for film or it was just created for theatre and films

It is very likely that everything is original, this theatre house had hundreds of original uniforms, many of them have gone on sale, and I can say that the ones I have been able to buy are 100% original.

Really? Your message makes me very optimistic. Could you share with me more photos of uniforms that you bought before that have that marking?

These theater house property wardrobe uniforms can vary from entirely original to seamstress reproduced from new or parts in my experience. If I am looking at it I see the Landgendarmerie (LG21) markings in the lining. These seem to indicate a LandGendarmerie property marking for the year of 1921. The piping color seems correct for LG but the Imperial crown buttons seem too late, but possible, for 1921. The parts look original.
