Don't forget the second volume on Italy in WWI that's going be a good one as well. (y)

My wife just bought it for me for Christmas. I've been getting their books for Christmas for years it makes it easier to except the ridiculous international shipping charges and books are the only thing the wife will buy me that's Militaria related. ;):)

I already have a lot of their books, but you can't have enough reference books.
They're great!

Regards, Coert.

You really cannot beat looking at thousands of detailed pictures of original items many of which are just beyond belief.

We are all Imperial Collectors here, so I try to keep my posts relating to that period but their book sets on Frederick the Great, The Iron Cross and The Franco Prussian War just to mention a few of my favorites are full of wonderful information and countless beautiful photos to enjoy for hours and hours.

😎Same "problem" to me:
-Imperial...but...Iron Cross and Franco-Prussian War in my collection as well. And Belgian Army!!!
...when the Missus is going through the new catalogue and says "have you seen this one??"😁
-I will tell her she forgot to mention the book on Der Alter Fritz's Armies...

My only problem with this publisher is that they are sometimes very slow
to get a project forward to a finished book. I can say for a fact that a collector friend of mine
had a VM photographer at his home and took many photos of his helmet collection.
There is to be a book based on just his collection. I got this straight from the collector.
Now, a couple of years or more later, no book and no information as to when or if.
Since I turn 84 years of age in a few days, I don't have years and years to wait to see the book.
Of course this is selfish on my part as I am one of only of a few who even know of the project.

I know that books like this take time and maybe some projects
get pushed into line before others.
I have suffered disappointment about books before.
Tiger Books III came to my house some years ago
photographer and all
2 and 1/2 days of photos
about 500 of them
of flags and related parts
He also went to Germany and took photos of a flag collection
time went by
the publisher killed the project about Imperial flags
I scanned him many photos
now it is just a forgotten Lost Cause
Steve

I understand that long and patient waiting is hard, but good work really takes time. Their books have never disappointed me. To this day I'm still adding the missing VM books to my shelves. There are also many other topics I've been wishing them to do.
I agree

I wonder, hope and pray I will as well. 🙏

We always see many collectors who at around 70 get hit with a strong sense of mortality and start selling. The fact that Steve is hitting 84 and still burns with the hunger and love of the hunt is for me inspirational. 👍
Not that I don't always need money
but I like the collection better than money
what would I do?
I need very little these days
as a matter of fact , I had more than I need after about 64 years of buying
other things
It would make me sad to see an empty room
I would rather that it will be empty after I am gone
collecting and this site keeps me going
Steve
