Beautiful!....nice to see that it is an ET (the only manufacturer of the square dip)...
You often see that people confuse the size 60 from Siemmens & Halske with a square dip... hence my question...

I have the first book on German steel helmets ( I forgot the German authors name ) and he describes the square dip.
But I never saw what he was talking about

oops I thought I had put at the beginning of the post!! presentation of several helmets from my collection including a rare square dip, a mint m17 and a camo m16 from the beginning and end of the war... all these pieces are original.. thank you

I think I've seen them somewhere before congratulations for putting the collection together.

I'd love to see how you have them all displayed, with so many different patterns it would look very cool. Any chance you could take a picture of them all together

Yes, the angle is pronounced, but too much! Because there was a fragility at this level, it cracked. Hence, after a test on 30,000 helmets in one battle...production stopped.
