Help with flea market find

Hello Guys. So i found this pickelhaube at a flea market. I think it doesnt look too bad but its my first pickelhaube. It has some stamps on the inside. What do you guys think, is this an authentic piece ?

Welcome to the forum!
Imo a model 1895 for enlisted men, with the Wappen for a Grenadier Regiment.
The parts look original, but the chinstrap should be black on the outside, so probably replaced at some point in time with an early war version.
The inside doesn't seem to be tampered with, but the outside seems very polished (or maybe that's just the picture, my helmets also look brighter on pictures than they do "in hand").
Unfortunately the unit marking is not fully readible, would have been nice with a unit marking that is consistent with the Wappen.
Congratulations with your first Pickelhaube, imo you bought an authentic piece.

EDIT: maybe you can take off the Wappen to show the helmet underneath? The Wappen sometimes leaves a "ghost" on the lacquer, and/or indentations that should fit with the Grenadier Wappen

Congratulations, a very nice helmet, rare and in good condition. As said above, a rare Grenadier-Regiment helmet. Perhaps a photo of only the leftmost marking (faded stamp) would help to guess the regiment, as only 5 or 6 had this eagle.
Only the cockade I see (the Prussian) is a well-known reproduction in France. I cannot appreciate the Reichskokarde. That's not too serious, as it's an ‘accessory’ that can easily be replaced.

You had a great fleamarket find! I wish I could find a helmet that nice overhere on a fleamarket!
Usually all that's found here are 70's furniture, old radio's, stuff like that.
But never things related to WW1.

Thanks! Yea normally i dont find stuff like that. I was extremly lucky. Normaly if something military related only modern stuff. Was really happy to find this !

One of the pics show the brass reinforced holes and they seem to be for a Prussian eagle.

Yes, this was the case with the Grenadier M95s, which bore the eagle of the old Regiments, with the FRW in an oval. As this eagle had the attachments and eyelets at about 8cm, the first large Grenadier eagles were supplied with 8cm attachments for easy exchange.
In this case the attachments are inside the sword and sceptre.
Subsequently, new helmets were supplied with 10cm fixings and eyelets, straddling the sword and sceptre.

Adapted to the spacing of the old ‘Grenadier’ eagle, until 1897 to 1913 for the latter.
