I skipped over some of it
I didn't see a single table that appeared to be just Imperial.
A lot of 3rd Reich
I am pretty sure that A o K had a table there ?

I did know someone set up at the show
he had about 12 spiked helmets to sell
I think that he told me that he sold 7
of them
but sure which 7 ?

I was invited to visit the show by Michel, a French guy from who I bought some very nice high quality repro chinstraps from on e-bay France, but didn't go. He said he'd be there selling hauben, and other Imperial german items. He has been collecting for 50 years.

I'll save up for Houten, later this year.

HI Alan,

Thanks for posting this I thoroughly enjoyed it with my morning cup of Coffee. There were a couple of items I would have liked to pick up and have a good look.

I did get a laugh and also an idea by seeing the guy selling little Stahlhelms made in to bottle toppers. I'd have gotten one for sure just to drive my family who already think I'm obsessed crazy. I can only imagine their faces when I pulled that out of my pocket to close a nice bottle of wine after pouring. :LOL::ROFLMAO:

Like Steve, I skipped some of it.

Though I am in Europe, I didn't go as I am on a tour. Am in Germany at the moment, going to Switzerland soon.

Looking forward to go home to be with my helmets yet don't wish to go home as I am enjoying myself. Life is full of dilemma. 😆

Yes he closed his website but still reaches out on occasion with his own collection to sell. He reached out not long ago about an IR100 so that’s why I was wondering if Sergio was there perhaps selling off some of his personal items.
 
Today Hermann H A sent out an email about unsold lots for their April 28 auction
I was looking it over , there are 6 pages
My focus was on spiked helmets
I was going to give a report , but the list got so long , it was hard to keep up with
Some of these helmets are still from the Jim T. collection sale
I think was the 3rd time around ?
I noted 32 unsold mostly helmets
there were a few other things
A Prussian white line Infantry flag at 8,000 Euro
the two repro Imperial German Fahna rings did not sale
I can't understand that Hermann would offer them for sale.
