The uniform was made in 1933 by the Hoflieferant C.H. Busch in Berlin for the Emperor to wear in Museum Huis Doorn

Hi Steve, you’re right, the emperor used them on a daily bases I believe.

I have seen films
2 that come to mind is posted on the Age of Kings site
which the visit to Doorn by randy & Remy
when they got their private tour.
The other is the curator at Doorn showing the attic with a lot of the items of KWII

I visited Huis Doorn several times already, but that isn't difficult as I live in the Netherlands. It is a travel back in time thing, and truly a nice museum, frozen in time. The collection on display there varies from time to time.

Correct Coert; the Kaiser's uniforms that are displayed are changed every few months. The fabrics need rest as they say.
