Rare Württemberg Alpine Shako M15

Recently got this shako from the Alpine Corps, which was created during WW1. I would take off the wappen to show a reverse view and ghosting, but the leather retainers are very much in place and will not come out without potentially breaking.

Named to "WIRTHS"
Made by J.M. Eckart, in Ulm

"Königlich Württembergisches Gebirgsbataillon"

I think Erwin Rommel the famous desert fox served in that regiment as an officer during World War I and was very successful ( I think at Carporetto), (as my memory is correct, no Time to check now)

On the illustration is the shako, but also the special fieldcap for gebirgstruppen that is very hard to find

I posted an illustration of the shako in which another headgear item of the mountain troops is displayed, a ski cap very similar in design to the KUK kappe, must be extremely rare as only produced short time for limited number of units and probably used post war, I once saw one for sale on weitze but did not have the funds at the time so did not get it, and have regrets, it is beautifully illustrated by Brian Calkins in his book,
