German Book on the 1842 Helmet

Although I do not speak the lingo this is a good book to have in my opinion .

Printed in 1988 it seems to be a series but I only have the one .

Many pics of the different state 1842 s.

That is from the Rastatt Museum .
I have not seen that one
I was there in 2006 and did not see it for sale
at what I call their gift shop .

They did have 2 books on Imperial German flags
by Reinhard Redlin which I bought .
Super books
Too bad that he did not continue the series .

This little booklet is very nice. It was the third one after the two J-L Larcade T1 and T2. Shortly after being transferred to Haguenau in Alsace in 1988, I hurried across the Rhine to visit the Rastatt Museum. And on my way out, I bought this little book... as a souvenir. Since then, it has been on my bedside table.
