The felt Mütze with the Totenkopf is a centenary piece. As worn by the Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Oels. The Schwarzer Herzog-the Black Duke. He fell in 1815; during the Battle of Quatre-Bras; just before the Battle of Waterloo.

-The Schwarze Schar / The Black Bunch. 1809 this Freikorps was formed. Wearing the all black uniform; compared to other units.
-Later, under the British flag the unit became famous under the name "the Black Brunswickers". In the King's German Legion
-To become the Herzoglich Braunschweigisches Husarenregiment Nr.17

Have they made any changes the displays over the last 10 years? I've been there twice; the last time was 2014.
