I had forgot that when I bought a group of FAR Kaiser Prizes from a collector friend
there was a postcard in the group
for the 1 Reitende Bat of the 1 Garde Field Artillery Regt 1913
when they won the kaiser Prize

Very nice!

You some times see Steins from a unit that won a prize that include a representation of the prize. I don't think I've seen a piece like this one before. Maybe the members of the winning battery went this route as a memento instead of the usual commemorative stein as a remembrance of their service time.

It's a great item. Thanks for sharing.

I agree , Steve.I have looking for a regimental stein with a Kaiser prize on it ever since I saw them in the
old book on steins by John Harrell some years ago with no luck.
