Hermann November

Huh. I was wondering the same thing, as I have not received anything.

Bob: You're in the US too right? I'm wondering if our self-inflicted shipping/importing wackiness is a factor, and US invoices are lagging?

Yes Jeff. I’m in the US. They usually ship FedEx and FedEx bills the recipient directly for tariffs. Given the cavalry rich nature of the auction I bid on several items and was fortunate to win 4. I was wondering if the complexity of packing all that was slowing things down.

Please share with us the 4 items that you won
IMO there were many great items in sale

Roger that - thanks Bob. Well, the FedEx part is good as FedEx seems to be able to navigate the current weirdness most effectively, probably because they have a good end-to-end process. I'm hoping no tariffs apply, if they document the pieces properly. 🤞

Sadly I don’t think antiques are exempt now. I’ve had to pay them despite the items being marked circa 1900 on the declarations. 10%

Hopefully, we all receive our items before Christmas holidays commence. I can’t bear the thought of all these rare items being shipped around during the Christmas season. However, I suppose FedEx Priority knows its stuff when it comes to shipping… 🤞

Agreed. Still waiting on an invoice. :(

Same! I'm guessing that for understandable reasons US shipments are at the back of the line. Wonder if any US bidders received invoices yet? I chare Charles' concern with getting tangled in the Xmas rush. Fingers crossed!

FedEx is usually pretty quick once they get it. Stuff from Weitze gets sent Tuesday and is delivered to New Hampshire on Friday

I received and paid my invoice on Thursday and I was supposed to receive my package by post on Monday, because Dhal had already been here but unfortunately was not at home so now by post, I live in Belgium, Europe of course.
