Ouch! That's painful with the customs fees, shipping, and current poor exchange rate.
 
For those who don’t know who George Best was
. A brilliant footballer, during an era of awful pitches and thuggish defenders. Unfortunately, he had much more to give when his lifestyle issues brought about the decline of his career. I saw him play at Old Trafford many times with Law and Charlton. I imagine this post will resonate with European members- less so with those in North America, although he did play in the US towards the end of his career.

I got the same email this morning sadly Vol II was going to be a Christmas Present from the wife.
Oh well now I get to go shopping for another gift.
No worries, I'm definitely willing to wait. Ive Been waiting for Vol II since 2010. What's another month. 👍 I'm just happy it's still coming.

This morning I mailed the Verlag on the Husaren book: the answer from the Verlag Semper Talis.
-Sheduled-
Printing: end of February 2026
Distribution: end of March 2026

Kind regards,

Translates as:

"The reason for the delay was due to issues that had a direct impact on the print quality.
In close coordination with the printer, we have successfully resolved these problems.
Printing of the book is now scheduled for late February. We expect the book to be delivered by the end of March.
We sincerely regret this delay. However, ensuring the quality of the work remains our priority, also in the interest of the buyers."

Es ist uns in enger Abstimmung mit der Druckerei gelungen die Probleme zu lösen.

Der Druck des Buches ist nun für Ende Februar geplant. Wir rechnen mit einer Auslieferung des Buchs Ende März.

Wir bedauern diese Verzögerung aufrichtig. Auch im Interesse der Käufer steht bei uns aber die Qualität des Werkes im Vordergrund.
