As a beginner I would say buy good books and read a lot here, this forum is a fan full of good examples and explanations, sometimes good books are also for sale here, although they have become expensive these days, good luck in your further development of the pickelhaubes

The Bavarian M15 is decent, but indeed too expensive considering its condition. In France, it would cost around €700. The Guardian model is cobbled together with fake parts. The Prussian M15 is common, and in very average condition; you shouldn't buy it for more than €500 (in France).
All of these are on legitimate websites surprised about the fake parts maybe they don’t know

Perhaps some people are unaware of this, but others know perfectly well... The problem is that, unlike counterfeit Dior, Cartier, Hermès, or other brands, here there are no expert inspectors to defend the brand!

I think you can make a request here; you might receive one or more offers, and they will be fair. Could you tell me which country you live in? There's still the issue of shipping the package, customs, currency exchange, taxes, etc.

One of the problems are many collectors have helmets that are missing one or two pieces they then buy reproduction parts just to finish the helmet for display in their personal collections which is fine, but the problems can arise later when they end up in other hands and they all will.
Let's face it we are all just custodians of these items we all love and when we are long gone, all Helmets will be left to tell their own story and will be judged by the future on their own merit.
Today's repros can sadly turns into the futures original.

Hi, I’ve seen one on here that looks nice a baden m15 in the us. I’m not sure it will be a gift for my son either I suppose. And no there’s not a lot in the uk
