Officer Shako reversible uberzug

If I were to put my initials in my helmet cover, I would do it on the inner part of the brim in pen. I am trying to think of a war games scenario where the initials make sense.

Nice! I have reversible covers for one with a spike and one for a Kugelhelm, but none for a Shako, so that's one I've not seen before.

Rare and Nice !
Actually, this isn't an M92 camouflage Uberzug, but rather an M84 Manöver-Kappe. It was initially used to distinguish enemy units (red stripe) from friendly units (no stripe). However, during mobilization, the field gray side could be used as a substitute Uberzug.ManöverKappe M84 0ff Metz-.jpg

One scenario could be that after mobilization no one would be using the red stripe anymore so putting the initials on the inside on the stripe may make sense at that time. (y)
