gentlemen, please no offense, but I have done extensive research.. this coat IS definitively that of Antonius , COUNT Antonius Schmissing Kerssenbrock. I have the provenance declared. He died at El Kahr north of Jerusalem 29 March 1918. This tunic is complete without shoulder boards. It is a school tunic from Institut ETTAL, a 1303 building revived as a Elite boarding school in 1902 where this elite count attended. He was not yet conferred a lieutenant commission as he was a school boy... but he belonged already to the Schutze Batallion...I was here for other erudite comments...any comments on the find from the forum experts?... valuation expected? about to write to relevant auction / dealer houses.. thanx
