Tony and Kaiser Yes to both your questions. The 109 pickelhaube is reputedly from Richard Graf von Pfeil, Major and Battalion-Commander. I'll post the Hannoverian tonight. Also yes its very hot here right now it was 36C when I photographed these.

Thanks for that information Chas. Thats useful. I must say I can not see any signs of tampering and the rest of the helmet appears OK, but it is difficult to be sure these days.
