    Hussar uniforms for sale, 10th EM and 12th one year

    For sale..this kills me but a Bavarian Raupenhelm with plume is calling me :D 12th Hussar one year vollenteer tunic. Tunic sky blue with silver cords. The cords and buttons retain a really nice silver frosting to them. The tunic is near MINT with a small fray right at the left tress border...

    If this was an Infantry unit, would not the wrappen, for this date, still have the Ivy between the lion's legs?? Was that not a standard feature of all Bavaria's wrappens?? Could this one have been replaced?

    Uniform to LT Paul Paul Montague of the 95th Aero Squadron (the Kicking Mules). I am still researching the dates, and Jasta, but Lt Montague was assigned to the 95th, and one month later shot down and wounded. He spent the rest of the war a POW behind the lines. More research to follow...
