Well, on the site where the helmet is on sale, there are some pictures of the back of the eagle. The eagle is fastened with leather wedges. How the banner is fastened I cannot see from the picture. Maybe somebody with better eyes can see more: The picture isn't that clear though.

Unfortunately, I have decided not to react anymore here on the forum, for a while. I won't remove myself, yet, but this is not the way I like it.

I have had the good fortune of having a French girlfriend for many years, besides having learned the French language, which I had at school. But the best books are indeed the French ones, fortunately I have those in my reference library here.
