    Strange "Bavarian" Helmet

Can anyone help to identify this strange looking "Bavarian" Helmet? Is it a British or U.S. Pith Helmet with a cut down Bavarian plate?

    British GREEN Home Service Helmet

I'm looking for a British Army Green cloth Home Service Helmet as used by Light Infantry Regiments. I already have the spike, base, side rosettes, chin chain & helmet plate so I'm just looking for a helmet with no fittings. Dave.

    An Interesting FRANKINSTEIN!!!

Here's the helmet plate of the 7th Dragoons. The same badge was also used by the British 1st Kings Dragoon Guards.

    Newbie from UK

My name is Dave. I was advised to join this forum while I was on GHW by Tony (and not forgetting Kaiser)! Quite a while ago, I used to have a reasonable sized pickelhaube collection but unfortunately they had to go. I'm now considering starting up again (on a small budget to begin with). I'm...
