Can anyone help to identify this strange looking "Bavarian" Helmet? Is it a British or U.S. Pith Helmet with a cut down Bavarian plate?

I'm looking for a British Army Green cloth Home Service Helmet as used by Light Infantry Regiments. I already have the spike, base, side rosettes, chin chain & helmet plate so I'm just looking for a helmet with no fittings. Dave.

Here's the helmet plate of the 7th Dragoons. The same badge was also used by the British 1st Kings Dragoon Guards.

The helmet plate looks to be that of the Austrian Dragoons
