    I have a model 1915 kurassier helmet lacking the spike. My question is should I be looking for a special steel spike (from some of the photos I have seen on line, they seem longer) or would a standard spike be correct.

    I have a M1915 lobster tail helmet ( I think), the question is, is there difference models or was it up to the maker on the shape of the visor and the lobster tail. I have seen up swing visor and one piece lobster tail. My visor is not up swing and the lobster tail is not one piece.

    I have picked up a shako , the frontal visor stitching very bad all most totaly off , is there someone who do stitching ( I know that I can't do it) and how much would some thing like that cost?
