As I don't know the first thing about theseolder British helmets and I've seen quite a few posts recently about them: were they ever worn in combat in some conflict?
Or is it more some sort of parade type of headgear?
I was just looking at an overview with the number of inhabitants each German state of the Kaiserreich had. I noticed Sachsen had twice as much inhabitants as Baden and Württemberg (about 4.8 against 2.1 and 2.4 million).

Doesn't have to be. House numbers 100 years ago are often not the same as now. A lot more houses were added as a result of which existing numbers changed over the years.

Unfortunately this one has no scabbard. They are very hard to find.
A regular scabbard would not fit since the Torpedomesser is several centimeters longer and the blade is a bit wider as well.
And here the glengarry from the royal scots fusiliers. A couple of years ago I bought this pre-war dress uniform which also happens to be from the RSF so I think it nicely fits. :)
