Does this Mecklenburg kokarde look weird to you? The blue seems too light (and bright) compared to the deeper blue I've generally seen for these. So many weird little quirks in just about all of the helmets in this one.

Wow - that is extraordinary. I have seen a fair number of unissued Feldgrau Krätzchen, but Dunkelblau in this condition is extremely rare!

The originals are die stamped rather than cast like this one - and this appears to be made in several parts. The originals also have finer details and more skillful enamel work. I'd vote repro.
