I recently was offered a Württemberg pickelhaube in a trade. But I have my doubts about the helmet plate. Does anyone know if this is an original piece? The deers hornes and fur look off to me, aswell as the font used for the text

Are you sure it is complete? doesn't it supposed to have a plume or deathshead on it?

Hi Alcusv I have looked everywhere on the helmet but I cannot seem to find any regimental markings. Only the stamped 66 and the scratched in E4... If I do find a K 2 or something like that on the helmet I will naturally post a picture of it the second I see it.
