Thanks a lot it helps. As i’ve said it cames from a french theater collection of costumes with 3/4 other french napoleonic shakos. Most of them were “used” for theater, several typical post period additions, but still a good original basis for two of them, original brass and bronze plAtes... and...

The diamond shape looks also British, I tried to look after the King's German Legion or something like that but didn't find anything. The back of the plate is really nice work.

Found this old type of shako in an auction sale. Sounds from the Napoleonic wars. Not French. Sounds really like and old Landwher Prussian shako. The shako plate is nice with old type of work on it, not modern reproduction. Presence of old German newspaper inside, gothic style. I didn't remove...
