ONE SIMPLE RULE ON THE FORUM FOR SELLERS

I think apart of that happening is because every other forum has a rules section and people are used to seeing that, while we have never needed one, I would say as long as all the members behave appropriately which I believe they have, and we police our own community then we won't have any...

    Stumbled on a gold mine??

You do indeed have a very nice helmet the parts missing, while difficult to find shouldn't be impossible. I think I have seen the appropriate wappen for sale somewhere recently, I'll check and see if i can find one if you're interested in restoring it yourself.

    Garde Du Corps NCO tunic

I'll be using the 3 piece bar on top, not the 5 piece bar on the bottom, its just the only photo of the bar that I have at the moment.

I decided on displaying the 3 place medal bar with the uniform, once I am home I'll attach it and post some updated photos.

The original owner of this uniform William Prickett from Wilmington Delaware started his time overseas in 1915 as an ambulance driver with field service section 4 then once the US entered the war in 1917 he transferred to the 6th artillery and from there was assigned to the 1st aero squadron as...

American uniform 2nd Division + British binoculars

Our deal on this uniform went through 2 years ago. I am very happy with it as well! The research proved very interesting.

    M15 Dragoon

I may also be mistaking the "8" for the "B' in the depot mark

    M15 Dragoon

I was able to pull up the ebay listing and take a snippit of the mark on the rear visor, it is pretty faded and hard to read but I am thinking its marked to the 8th dragoons?

    M15 Dragoon

It is definitely a prussian dragoon, you can see the tips of the swept wings in the leather on the right facing photo without the spike. Either the lighting was better on that photo or my dad may have dusted it off in between pictures.

    M15 Dragoon

They did make grey hessian dragoon helmets however i am in agreement with Clovis you can see where the prussian dragoon eagle once sat on this one. There are faint markings on the rear visor as well but I will likely have to take some better photos of this one myself once I am home to show...

    M15 Dragoon

Good Morning Gentlemen, I recently picked this up off of ebay and now that my family has it they were able to send me a few good photos. It is and seems to have always been an M15 dragoon helmet with the proper spine and spike base but at some point the visor had either been cut to fit a round...

    KPEMIG question

I am happy to report that I was able to make a deal and once I'm off deployment should be able to post plenty of updates. I snagged the two lots of silver chinscales and it should give me just about everything I need to repair/ reconstruct a set of curved NCOs chinscales for my DR. 24 helmet...

    KPEMIG question

He does have quite the treasure trove, I check his website whenever i decide that my hunt for a particular part has gone too long, this may be my first time actually dealing with him so I'm hoping it will go well. From the sounds of everyone else on the forum it should be a smooth transaction.

    KPEMIG question

Unfortunately the parts I'm looking for are quite scarce, I'd actually be buying a few lots of parts and trying to build a set of curved NCO chinscales. I have never seen a set in silver for sale.
