Does anyone have a JzP helmet marked to the 4th JzP regiment?

This helmet has a number of interesting features but most bizarre of all is the method in which the plate is attached. I will send Joe some photos.

Thnaks so much for posting this for me Joe. The east Asian was actually an internet buy. The Tsapka was the walk-in. The East Asian helps to dress up an S-98 bayonet that I have that is also marked to the East Asian Expeditionary Force.

Thanks Tony. The plate is just as the one you show except that the cross has no silver to it. If anyone needs it let me know I simply bought it because it was there and I was bored.

Picked up at an antique show this weekend. Brass OR Prussian Pickelhaube line eagle plate without "Fur Gott, etc " bandeau. Has brass cross set into breast with the motto..."Mit Gott Fur Koenig und Vaterland". One screw post with squared nut remaining on back. Is this a Landweher plate rather...

Looks like the liner was away on vacation while the interior aged. I grew up the son of an army officer during the 1950's and everyone I knew had nazi helmets. I had dozens and saw hundreds. I never saw a camo WWII German helmet until about ten or fifteen years ago. I saw and owned only one SS...

I once had a Shako cover whereon the field badge cover was integral to the cover. Nice item, I now regret selling it.

Chas, too bad, the holster in fair to good shape would be worth about $1000 more than your '06 Luger.

Chas, an original Rock Island Test Luger holster is a super rare item. At $1500 there's alot of profit still to be had.

According to " Histories of 251 Divisions" the 122nd was attached to the 105th Division in Macedonia in 1916. That source indicates that the 105th's cavalry was made up of elements of the 4th JzP only. I guess that he could be part of the Corps or Divisional staff.

He appears to be a leutnant. Very interesting photo.
