    Hi I just turned 30 today and yesterday this arrived in the post for me. It´s an interims attila for an officer in Husaren regiment No. 17. As you can see the officer boards are missing but overall I am very happy with the condition. Now I just need some boards to restore it.

    You are almost correct. Husaren regiment No. 17 (Braunsweig) had a interims attila that was all black. Attila, buttons and cording was black. But this regiment is somewhat of special case when it comes to uniforms/headgear. Here is a picture of my interims attila for Hussar regiment No. 17...

    Thanks Tony :) My great-grandfather served his conscription in regiment 84 in Hadersleben (Haderslev in danish) and was in Reserve Infanteri regiment 86 during the war. Would the Reserve Infanteri regiment 86 also have the same cipher as the line regiment?
