This is how it starts! Buy a new uniform and then you want it as complete as possible : the hat ,the belt, the epaulettes ...... We have all been there ,I suppose, part of the fun of collecting. Kube just sold the schirmmütze that would have gone with your new tunic. There will be more eventually.

I saw that one on Emedals website. I wish they had sold the medals, that didn't seem to go with an kürassier officer , in a separate sale. However, it is a nice uniform. Could the epaulettes also be for the Kürassier Regiment von Driesen Nr.4?

Mystery solved. Never saw first invoice from Kube but the second one, upon my inquiry, did come in a "spam/junk" folder yesterday. 190 Euros in shipping fees , those books are heavy.

Nothing yet. Prior to the auction, Kube acknowledged that he had received my mail bids by return email. According to the result list provided above by Claudio ,I won several things, mainly regimental histories. I emailed Kube yesterday , no response yet.

Has anyone in the United States received an invoice for Kube's May 20th auction yet? By letter, email , smoke signals ?

Very nice ! I have one too but with a pair of Kaiser Franz Rgt.2 leutnant shoulder boards . I would prefer M1910 epaulettes. Happy hunting.

I started with Kube with Auction 32/33 September 11, 1982 but I do have his catalogs Number 1,10 and 18 through 30/31 . He sold back issues at one time. The catalogs do make one long for the quantity and quality of his merchandise to say nothing about the prices! Other than late catalogs I have...

Speaking of the old way.......I just now received the Jan K. Kube catalog at 11:35am PDT for the May 20th auction. It was sent from Munich on April 28th. I'm glad I did not wait to send my bids. Kyle

Perhaps someone knows Herr Kube, why does he not have live online bidding like everyone else? Oh , I remember once during the height of COVID he had one. Am I missing something about the positive aspects of waiting for his catalog to show and and then mailing in your bids to Germany ? Yes...
