Dear Members,

I recently purchased this waffenrock which I have identified as belonging to an officer of the Garde Kürassier Regiment.
The waffenrock is in very good conditions with some wears and tears but it still very nice on display.
The epaulettes are not matching and according to me , they are epaulettes for an Oberstleutnant of the 1. Garde Ulanen Regiment.
I am also wondering what could be the 3 vertical loops on the left side, it is too wide for an EK I....
Except the non-matching epaulettes, I think the waffenrock is very good and original.

I would be very happy to get your feedback.

Thanks

I saw that one on Emedals website. I wish they had sold the medals, that didn't seem to go with an kürassier officer , in a separate sale. However, it is a nice uniform. Could the epaulettes also be for the Kürassier Regiment von Driesen Nr.4?

Thanks for your reply. According to me, the epaulettes can not be for the Kürassier Regiment von Driesen Nr.4 because they do not have the gold Cypher 4.
So I think the only option is 1. Garde Ulanen Regiment.

I am very happy with that tunic, I am now looking for a right pair of epaulettes, a Pallasch and a Schirmmütze !

Thanks a lot Kuerassier for your message, I was sure that Kürassier regiment do have gold cyphers on the epaulettes.
I found this information in the Didier Laine book !
That's always better to cross check information !
