    At first glance, when I saw it on Ebay , I thought Italian , but you guys are on the mark. It's French. The Italian has a slightly higher profile with a single vent on each side. Corky

    Can't tell for sure without photos, but that lion would be Czechoslovakian. Some cities had their own wappen. I would guess, Prague. I believe I saw a similar one in the Czech military museum. Corky
