Joe, just guessing, but it looks to me like a propaganda shot showing how well the troops are being taken care of by some businessman. Helmets, backpacks, drums, horns, and even a pipe. "Nothings too good for our troops ! "

Great photo ! Notice the higher profile of the helmet. This is unlike the U.S. style as we discussed on the one someone was trying to pass off on ebay. Plus the cork is much thicker and the cloth is a heavier quality. Corky

No such animal. It appears to be a Hessian helmet with this skull applied. Notice the exposed holes next to the plate. Corky

I believe this is a US helmet. At first glance I thought the rear visor was much longer then on the US one like Peter photographed,which it is. But...the US helmets came in a variety of styles and colors and sure enough, I have one with the long rear visor and the same lining. I also agree it...

Although he looks like a Wookie, he is one of my 3 shihtzu's. His Chinese name is Tai Ki- Little Prince. We also have Bo Bo Tai Chi-The Bringer of Happiness and Samurai..., a shihtzu with an attitude.
