This one is in Canada and shows as $27.50 US and $20 US shipping when I choose Germany as the destination. So $47.50 US total. Mine cost me $38.25 US with shipping within Canada.

Sellers says repro. I’m not sure.
Not looking at it myself. Just curious what others think.
Good luck. There are some great people on this site who should be able to help. My wife and I are big Ancestry users and I understand the challenge. Looks like you have a really great start!
Sad to see the helmet ruined but it was probably made when they were readily available just after the war, or maybe during. Some Allied soldier probably made it and yes it could be one of many things. I picture it on a desk.
My wife's friend just did a day trip to the US a couple days ago. The Border Services Agent on the Canada side told her "soon" there would be a $60 charge on every $100 spent in the US and brought back. Probably the tariff and tax and processing fees. No offense to my US friends, I still love...
In my mind this is just as good as an original as it is all original parts and put back how the original owner would have had it. And the finish restored by a master craftsman.
Dziękuję Polsko za wyprodukowanie tak wspaniałego rzemieślnika
