    Unfortunately, the saber is missing the wire wraps on the grip, but it is a nice example. The state coat of arms on the guard is impressive. The saber was sold by a vendor in Stuttgart, so it could have been carried by a member of DR26.

    Sword Identification

    I think it is a Bavarian cavalry sword of the type carried by Uhlans and Chevaulegers until about 1891. The makers mark appears to be Clemens and Jung
