Sword Identification

Can anyone tell me what model of sword this is? It is claimed to be a German sword from around 1850, but I was wondering what model. I have seen a similar sword called the 1849 Prussian Mounted Officer’s Saber and was wondering if it might be that. I have also seen some similar swords from Mecklenburg.

I think it is a Bavarian cavalry sword of the type carried by Uhlans and Chevaulegers until about 1891. The makers mark appears to be Clemens and Jung

Judging by that, I would say it is a 1849 Prussian Mounted Officer’s Saber. The picture looks almost identical to mine, and it says “It was produced in a variety of different versions with a two-branch knuckleguard in steel or nickel-plated.”
