    before making a costly mistake, I want to consult the experts on the forum ... I was offered a miter model 94 .....it is complete with its ponpon and chinstraps. The pediment has to be in maillechort or silver plated brass ?????? what other details to look?? thanks alot for your help pp

    the stars of the spike are only a fantasy of some officers. They are in no way regulatory. So the helmet shown in this topic is perfect and regulatory....

    the FAR 25 rgt was awarded the star of the ludwig order on 1915....so only the star was added....moreover Officers paid their helmets so....they did what they wanted.     hi, in my opinion, 1915 pattern cuirassier helmet have no rgt marking....your marks under the cocardes could be an order number or the number of the squadron and of the platoon...or simply the size... number under the plate could be a mark used during the manufacture.... this is just my...
