    According to my research, each Squadron was broken down into four squads (Zugs) with each squad being led by a lieutenant (Zugfuhrer).

    Wonderful collection. One of my favorite regiments too. In fact, my first unit marked Luger and pickelhaube were for that regiment.

    Great photo. Notice the little shoe (boot) on the right stirrup that holds the butt end of the lance when in the stowed position. These are extremely hard to find now, especially with the proper stirrup.
