Beautiful , Steve..... (y)
Thanks to all
I got them a few years ago at an S O S
A fellow from Poland ( Posen )
had uncle's shoulder strap collection for sale
the collection had not been offered or seen in over 50 years
I got a lot of nice straps from the collection
both officer and enlisted
Steve

I don't know about shoulder straps, but 2LHR unit marked Lugers are very rare and I happen to have a very nice 1910 DWM Luger marked to that regiment. I am fortunate,

Both of those units 1 L H R 1 & 2 L H R 2 were garrisoned at Danzig.
Way over in East Prussia back then
Now part of Poland I think
anything from those 2 regiments is very hard to find
Steve

Not at all in Danzig: the regiment 2ndLHR was formed on August 9, 1741. Regiment was stationed in Danzig Langfur and assigned to the XVII German Army Corps. Until December 20, 1808, as one regiment, it shared history with the 1st LHR. In the years 1852–1886 two of his squadrons were stationed in Posen/Poznań. In the years 1886–1901, the number of Posen squadrons was increased to three. In 1901 2LHR was detached to Danzig finally.
