Kaiserliche Marine Tellermütze - S.M.S. Pommern

That would be my guess right off the bat, Pommern was re-stationed in Kiel with her Sisters when her class was deemed too wide to navigate the Kaiser Wilhelm Canal.

Kaiserliche Marine Tellermütze - S.M.S. Pommern

Hello Justin. Sadly I cannot get a decent enough photo to show you the cockade's attachment, and even I cannot see it well, because the cockade has very little play, however I think it has a loop on the back which is sewn to the bit within the cap.

Kaiserliche Marine Tellermütze - S.M.S. Pommern

Hello All. I attended a military show and found this Tally cap from the Pre-Dreadnaught SMS Pommern, which I could not justify passing up for the price. This piece goes along well with my Tellermütze from the Yacht Hohenzollern. The headband is rather misshapen, as is most often the case with...

    Dunkelblau Bavarian Visor

A quite nice cap. I am very fond of visor caps, this one has a bit of that "saddle" shape" and I'll echo the sentiment that just because it's common does not mean it's not a great piece.

    Personal Grail item

Very nice. 21 April will mark the 107th anniversary of his death in 1918, interestingly, just after his last two kills the day before.

    Need help Identifying Pickelhaube

Hello Glenn, Welcome to the Forum. Your helmet is an M1915 Variant from the Grand Duchy of Baden, denoted by the front plate. The chinstrap is a reproduction and is incorrect to your helmet. The state cockade on the left is incorrect, for Baden, it should be Gold and Red. I believe as well that...

    Question on Prussian General Pickelhaube

Just from what is said here, and what I see in the photos, I would agree that the spike does not look correct for a General.
