    Can anyone identify?

I knew a fellow in Germany who had a personal Feuerwehr Museum, very nice collection. I bought a Prussian artillery NCO helmet from him. (It didn't fit in with his collection). Isselhorst, NRW, but it's closed now.

    Can anyone identify?

I've only been able to find one bear with a collar, usually looking up, rather than back, which is Berlin. So fire, police, fraternal, school?

    Movie on T V

Theaters / prop companies can be treasures or tragedies as great artifacts are destroyed for productions. On the other hand, I DID get a mint condition US pre/early WWII Infantry Tanker (doughnut dome) tanker helmet that had been in an Australian theater's prop department.

SOLD: Prussian M15 Garde Ulan Front Plate in nice condition, missing star

It's certainly a nice plate at a good price, but I'm saving for a set of chin scales and rosettes.

Feel almost embarassed to show my lids given the collections here...

A nice collection! I see you have one of the post-war (1950's) French 'experimental' helmets, made for the infantry (?) but often thought to be a tanker helmet.

Hey Alan, If you ever come across a full set around the size shown below, which could be around a cm longer, but no shorter, could you give me a yell? Flat is good, but I prefer convex. Thanks! Ron

    Garde Reiter

Well, thanks to this site, I learned that my GdK officer to parade was a parts helmet, so since it wasn't easy to care for, I sold it to a reputable dealer who had a buyer. Even as a compilation of original parts, I more than doubled what I paid for it in the 1980's. So, I broke even. (and...

The New Way of Selling on eBay Using AI

I read that there is already a law in the works in Europe, in which the use of AI has to be cited, especially in visual media. On such platforms as Facebook, I've already seen AI fooling a lot of people who prefer to take things at face value (such as the three story Italian 'mobile library' and...
